For me, sustainability is very much about creating a piece of jewellery that is timeless in design and the customer wants to wear again and again. The customer should be able to take the jewellery out of their jewellery box in 15 years, and it should still be a beautiful and timeless piece of jewellery that fits its time.

Creating jewellery you can use for a long time and can be inherited requires really good craftsmanship. For me, this is a big part of the challenges our planet faces, and the reason why we do not continue to produce new stuff, but what we create is something that lasts and is beautiful for generations.

It should be a piece of jewellery you will be able to take out of the jewellery box again after a long time without it being broken, having lost colour or being outdated in the design. That is good design and craftsmanship for me.

With love Line Hallberg, Goldsmith & Creative director
